Karachi: The UK pound sterling is trading strong in Pakistan’s open market today, as the buying rate is standing at Rs 377.00, while the selling rate is moving around Rs 381.00.
The pound remains highly important due to a large Pakistani community working in the United Kingdom. Remittances from the UK are supporting thousands of families across Pakistan, especially in Punjab and Kashmir regions.
Business owners, students, and travelers are closely following the pound’s movement, as it directly affects tuition fees, living costs, and import payments.
The pound is showing a stable trend today, providing some financial clarity for overseas Pakistanis and their families.
