Karachi: The Omani riyal is maintaining strong value in Pakistan’s open market today due to its high international worth and limited supply. According to market trends, the Omani riyal is being bought at Rs 726.75 and sold at Rs 736.75.
Pakistani professionals and skilled workers in Oman are continuing to support remittance inflows, which are playing a vital role in household incomes back home. Due to the riyal’s higher value, even small remittances are making a noticeable impact for families in Pakistan.
The currency’s movement is being watched closely by those planning overseas employment or sending educational funds, as the OMR remains one of the strongest Gulf currencies against the rupee.
