LAHORE: The Government of Punjab has officially announced the schedule for winter vacations in all public and private schools across the province. According to a notification issued by the School Education Department, winter holidays will begin on 22 December 2025 and will continue until 10 January 2026.
The notification, approved by the competent authority, states that all educational institutions must strictly follow the announced schedule. Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of District Education Authorities across Punjab have been directed to ensure full compliance.
The department has also forwarded the notification to all relevant offices, including divisional directors, district commissioners, and attached departments, while instructing officials to upload the announcement on the official website for public information.
This yearly break provides students and teachers a much-needed pause as temperatures continue to drop across Punjab.
