Lahore: The Punjab IG has issued strict orders to make the enforcement of traffic laws more effective in Punjab. According to a spokesperson for the Punjab Police, a large-scale action is being taken against vehicles with tinted windows, cars and motorcycles running without number plates across the province.

The spokesperson said that the police have given a clear message that the law is equal for everyone, which is why police officers and officials will not be exempt from action in case of any violation.

Punjab Police has also announced that if any violation is found in any area, the SHO, concerned officer or formation head of that area will be held accountable. In case of violation of the law, strict departmental action will be taken against the concerned officials.

The spokesperson said that these steps are being taken to improve traffic discipline and ensure the safety of citizens.
