Karachi: The UAE Dirham (AED) is currently quoted in Pakistan’s open market at Rs 76.75 for buying and Rs 77.55 for selling.
Given the large Pakistani workforce in the United Arab Emirates, remittances in AED remain a key driver for foreign exchange inflows. The current rate ensures that the money sent by workers is effectively converted, helping their loved ones back home with daily expenses, education, and savings.
Investors and small business owners in Pakistan are also tracking the AED-PKR rate closely, because the UAE remains a major trading partner, influencing import costs and cross-border trade dynamics.
