PM Shehbaz Sharif requests coalition senators to support 27th Amendment

Islamabad: According to sources, the government has contacted the Awami National Party (ANP) senators and requested them to attend the dinner of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to reports, Senator Arbab Umar Farooq and Senator Haji Hidayatullah will attend the dinner.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has hosted a dinner in honor of the senators and federal ministers of the coalition parties, where the current political situation and issues related to the 27th Constitutional Amendment will be discussed.

Sources say that during the dinner, the Prime Minister will formally request the members of the coalition parties to support the constitutional amendment in the Senate.

On the other hand, the Prime Minister has also invited senators from the coalition parties to breakfast tomorrow morning, to ensure complete consensus within the government ranks before legislation is enacted.
