Karachi: After the volatility during Thursday’s trading, the Pakistan Stock Exchange saw an overall bearish trend. At the end of trading, the 100 Index fell 481 points to close at 159,096 points.
During trading, the index also reached a low of 158,252 points at one point, while the highest level was recorded at 160,590 points.
According to market analysts, investors are adopting a cautious attitude due to recent economic policies and political uncertainty. They say that despite the market’s fundamental indicators remaining stable, short-term pressure remains, but if economic confidence is restored, the index could show signs of improvement.
