Pakistan Stock Market Sees Huge Drop, 100 Index Closes at 159,578 Points

Karachi: Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a significant negative trend today during the trading week, when the 100 Index witnessed a major decline of 1703 points. At the end of the day, the index closed at 159,578 points.

The market also recorded a high of 162,052 points and a low of 159,216 points, indicating a decline in investor confidence.

The 100 Index closed at 161,281 points yesterday, but profit-taking by investors and economic uncertainty kept the market under pressure in today’s session.
