Karachi: The trading week at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) ended on a bearish note. The Hundred Index fell by 1,672 points during the week and closed at 161,631 points.

During this period, the market traded in a range of 7,243 points, with the index touching a high of 163,570 points and a low of 156,327 points. According to investors, financial uncertainty continued to weigh on the trading environment.

According to the report, 4.77 billion shares were traded during the week, with a total value of Rs 195.95 billion. However, market capitalisation fell by Rs 252 billion to Rs 18,561 billion.

Experts say that investors are cautious about interest rates, inflation and the country’s economic direction, due to which stability in the market is still needed.
