Bilawal Bhutto and Fazlur Rehman hold important meeting in Islamabad

Islamabad: In Islamabad, Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held an important meeting with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) ameer Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence. Nayyar Bukhari, Jamil Soomro, Humayun Khan and Maulana Asad Mahmood were also present during the meeting.

According to sources, the main point of discussion was the appointment of the opposition leader in the National Assembly, where the numerical strength and possible alliance between the two parties were discussed in detail. Bilawal Bhutto is seeking Fazlur Rehman’s support in this regard.

JUI-F sources said that the meeting agreed to maintain political conditions, parliamentary cooperation and contacts, while no constitutional amendment was discussed, nor did Maulana Fazlur Rehman show interest in becoming the opposition leader.
