Islamabad: An important consultation was held on the political situation in Azad Kashmir in a meeting chaired by President Asif Ali Zardari in the Presidency. During the meeting, it was decided that the People’s Party will form its government in Azad Kashmir through an in-house change.

According to the PPP, all arrangements for government formation have been completed, while Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will formally announce the name of the new Prime Minister on Monday. Sources say that Chaudhry Latif Akbar and Chaudhry Yasin are among the strong candidates for the prime ministership.

The party has claimed that if the current prime minister does not resign, the support of the required members is available for the no-confidence motion. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Faryal Talpur and other important leaders attended the meeting.

Later, while talking to the media, Chaudhry Yasin said that the PPP parliamentary party has unanimously decided to form the government and all the members were present in the meeting. He said that the leadership will soon put its seal on the name of the new Prime Minister.
