Pakistan and Poland’s interior ministers meet and announce an increase bilateral security cooperation

Islamabad: In the federal capital, Islamabad, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi welcomed the Polish Deputy Interior Minister. Minister of State Talal Chaudhry and Pakistani Ambassador to Poland Muhammad Sami were also present in the meeting. During this, a comprehensive discussion was held on bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.

The two countries agreed that further contacts and cooperation will be continued at the government level in the future so that global security challenges can be jointly faced. Emphasis was placed on increasing cooperation in matters such as illegal immigration, border security, and legal assistance.

Mohsin Naqvi clarified in the conversation that illegal immigration is a major challenge for Pakistan, and the government is taking strict measures against the elements involved in it. He said that the maritime borders are being made more secure by developing the Coast Guard on modern lines.

According to observers, this meeting could be the beginning of a new chapter in the relations between Pakistan and Poland.
