Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Faith (Belief) consists of more than sixty branches (i.e. parts). And Haya (This term “Haya” covers a large number of concepts which are to be taken together; amongst them are self respect, modesty, bashfulness, and scruple, etc.) is a part of faith.”
ہم سے بیان کیا عبداللہ بن محمد جعفی نے ، انھوں نے کہا ہم سے بیان کیا ابوعامر عقدی نے ، انھوں نے کہا ہم سے بیان کیا سلیمان بن بلال نے ، انھوں نے عبداللہ بن دینار سے ، انہوں نے روایت کیا ابوصالح سے ، انہوں نے نقل کیا حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے ، انہوں نے نقل فرمایا جناب نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ایمان کی ساٹھ سے کچھ اوپر شاخیں ہیں ۔ اور حیاء ( شرم ) بھی ایمان کی ایک شاخ ہے ۔
