ICC action on Suryakumar Yadav and Haris Rauf Fined and warned for both

Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has imposed fines on Indian and Pakistani players for violating the laws of cricket.

Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav was fined 30 percent of his match fee for making controversial statements after the match, while his position was rejected by the ICC. He has been clearly instructed to avoid any kind of political statements in the future.

Similarly, Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf was not only fined 30 percent but also issued a warning for making gestures.

According to the ICC, Pakistani batter Sahibzada Farhan was not fined for brandishing his bat like a gun, but was cautioned.

The actions of both players have been classified as Level One offences by the ICC, which is being considered an important measure to maintain discipline in the game.
