ISLAMABAD: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, under the leadership of its Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, announced that the Rabi-e-Sani moon has not been sighted anywhere in Pakistan. This means the first day of Rabi-e-Sani will be observed on Thursday, September 25.
During a press conference held in Islamabad, Maulana Azad confirmed that the committee did not receive any credible reports of moon sightings from any part of the country.

In his address, Maulana Azad also took a moment to express profound sorrow over the recent passing of Saudi Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh.
He highlighted the strategic importance of the Pak-Saudi Arabia defense agreement, calling it a crucial step for the security of both nations and a guarantee for the defense of the entire Muslim world. This statement emphasizes the strong diplomatic and strategic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
