Lahore: The citizens of Lahore are worried about another bout of inflation as the prices of milk and yogurt have been suddenly increased. Shopkeepers have increased the prices by Rs 10 and set the price of milk at Rs 210 per liter and the price of yogurt at Rs 250 per kg.
Shopkeepers say that the recent floods have badly affected the number of livestock and milk production, due to which the supply in the market has become less and the prices have become higher.
People say that the domestic budget is under severe pressure due to the increase in the prices of basic daily necessities. Citizens have demanded that the government take immediate steps to reduce prices and improve the supply of milk.
