The total number of voters in Pakistan has crossed a new threshold

Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan has released the details of registered voters across the country, according to which the total number of voters has reached 134.9 million 49 thousand 984.

The latest report has stated that the number of male voters is 72.3 million 54 thousand 182 while the number of female voters is 62.5 million 95 thousand 802. Thus, the ratio of male voters is 53.62 percent while the ratio of female voters is 46.38 percent.

According to the statistics, Punjab province is at the forefront where the number of registered voters is 76.8 million 12 thousand 589. There are 28.287201 voters in Sindh, 230231 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 5638084 in Balochistan and 1211879 in Islamabad.

Political observers say that the increasing number of voters is of great importance for the country’s electoral process, and it will have a direct impact on the upcoming elections.
