Climate and agricultural emergency imposed, economy moving towards improvement: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb

Kamalia: Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said that a climate and agricultural emergency has been imposed in the country and whatever measures are required will be taken under it. He said that in the current situation, the most important task is to provide immediate relief to the affected people and for this purpose, a survey is underway to estimate the losses caused by the floods.

The Finance Minister said in the conversation that the country’s economy is on the path of improvement and at this juncture, there is a need to move the country forward by transcending politics. He stressed that the government will not hesitate to take difficult decisions because concrete measures are indispensable to solve the problems of the people.

Referring to the global market, Muhammad Aurangzeb said that fuel prices are decreasing, due to which the inflationary pressure is less at the global level. However, he clarified that the government is ensuring that artificial inflation does not arise in the country and that the prices of essential commodities are controlled.
