Notification issued for public holiday on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal

Islamabad: The federal government has issued an official notification regarding Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

Due to the holiday, government and private offices will remain closed across the country, while Milad processions and Naat and Durood ceremonies will be held in different cities.

Lovers of the Prophet (PBUH) celebrate this day with great devotion and mosques and streets are illuminated in celebration of the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).  12 Rabi’ al-Awwal is a faith-building occasion for Muslims around the world, as this is the day when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came into the world.
